Coaching Information
Whether it's in the adult league, the high school league, or for a provincial team, we are always looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for teaching our sport.
If you'd like to get started, visit the Sport MB and NCCP websites to view what courses are offered. It can be confusing figuring out which ones you need to be certified but give us a shout if you have any questions! A good place to start is:
1. Respect in Sport (Free through Sport MB)
2. Make ethical Decisions ($50 through Sport MB)
3. Planning a Practice ($55 through Sport MB)
4. Teaching and Learning ($55 through Sport MB)
All above courses are available to be taught virtually. See course calendar on the Sport MB or NCCP website to find a course that's right for you.
The technical course "Introduction to Competition" specifically for handball can only be provided by an individual certified through Handball Canada, so if you're ready for that step please contact info@mbteamhandball.com and we can discuss planning a course.
