MEET THE TEAM

Are responsible for the development of Team Handball within the province as well as the representation of Manitoba within the Canadian Team Handball Federation. The Board governs the Winnipeg Team Handball League, the Winnipeg High School Team Handball League as well as the provincial team programs. 

President

Karley has been the President since 2016, taking over while putting on an incredible junior national tournament. She has represented Manitoba honourably with the Canadian federation, held us together and steered the ship through the pandemic and got us out safely on the other side. Her focus now is GROWTH!

Treasurer

Rena joined the team more recently but has been a welcome addition. Despite her calm and quiet nature, she's a beast with Excel and a talented player to be feared whether she's making saves or sniping shots from the right wing.

Leagues Coordinator

Danielle originally joined the MTHF as an enthusiastic helper but is a busy body so ended up in a role with development and then high school league and since the pandemic she also took over the adult league... It's a wonder she has time to also play in the league, what will she do next?

Communication

Caiti looks after the email for general inquiries and also helps out with social media. Another skilled player and enthusiastic helper who has stuck with it for a number of years, you can always count on her to know exactly what's going on in the community at any given time!

Social Media

Josh is our primary social media handler and also helps Danielle with league statistics. Nobody loves handball more than Josh and that's obvious from the hard work he puts in during the league seasons. Watch out for him on the court because he's deadly from the wing or the pivot.
